HELLO

Tom, Bonnie, & I went for a walk today at Three Rivers Greenway.  Yes, it was hot, but honestly not that bad because most of our walk was shaded.  Plus the fact that we were walking beside the river and knowing we could jump in at any time to cool off didn't hurt either. :) I'll post some pictures of our walk at the bottom of this post.
I thought this would be a fun card to make since we were in the walking / hiking mood.

 Bottom Flap:

Inside:
Poem reads: A baby's one thing the whole world adores, The best part of all is Emerson's all your's!

Card base is actually a *YELLOW PAPER BAG that came in a pack of 12 from Michael's. The paper bag dimensions are 4 5/8" x 2 7/8" x 8 5/8".

I folded the bag in half so that the opening (top) was on the left.
The bottom flap is on the right and folds back & forth for an extra fun fold on this "card".

All solid papers from Walmart's cardstock packs.
All pattern papers from DCWV "Baby Boy Stack" (1/2 the stack has glittered sheets.).

*Buttons & hemp from stash.

The 2 poems were Googled, customized, and printed on white cardstock from Walmart.
I used my software "PrintMaster" to open up a Business Card document for the correct printing size.
I printed the poem using Minya Nouvelle @ 12 pts.
Both of the digi art cliparts are from DJ Inkers (I love their digis / clip art!).
The poems measure 3 1/2" x 2". Perfect for this size Paper Bag Card sections.

Everything is inked around the edges with ColorBox chalk ink.
